What do I do about my brother?!?
so heres the long story short,
there’s this tube in my brother’s body, keeping something seperated..and if it moves, he’ll die instantly from..a bunch of weird stuff,
but his stomach was hurting..so we went to the doctors, and we thought it moved..well it did, a tiny bit..but he was out and around, doing stuff..and he heard people saying they wished the tube would move the whole way! Can you figure the rest out?

All day, today, he won’t stop moving! He keeps on running jumping, doing house chores (strenous ones, at that), running errands!
He won’t stay still, he won’t stay in bed!
He tossed his excuse slip into a dumpster and participated in PE!
When I asked him why he was doing all this, he said so that the tube would move!
And today, he handed me a paper.
I was like, "What the hell is this?"
He was like, "That’s the epitaph I wanted written on my tombstone. And don’t you cry when I’m gone."

It read:
"Sleep now the untroubled sleep of the angels…….. Theodore Jefferson Oliver. 1989-2008."

What do I do about my brother?!?

….. give him a meaning of life that will make him love life.

find out why he wants to die, or doesnt want to live anymore, you have to learn that first, mayb he doesnt even know why, he just wants to live normally even if it means risking his own life.

Speed Racer

Speed Racer
Speed Racer (2008)

IMDB rating: 6.60

Plot: Hurtling down the track, careening around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer is a natural behind the wheel. Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized-the legendary Rex Racer - whose death in a race has left behind a legacy that Speed is driven to fulfill. Speed is loyal to the family racing business, led by his father, Pops Racer, the designer of Speed’s thundering Mach 5. When Speed turns down a lucrative and tempting offer from Royalton Industries, he not only infuriates the company’s maniacal owner but uncovers a terrible secret-some of the biggest races are being fixed by a handful of ruthless moguls who manipulate the top drivers to boost profits. If Speed won’t drive for Royalton, Royalton will see to it that the Mach 5 never crosses another finish line. The only way for Speed to save his family’s business and the sport he loves is to beat Royalton at his own game. With the support of his family and his loyal girlfriend, Trixie, Speed teams with his one-time rival-the mysterious Racer X - to win the race that had taken his brother’s life: the death-defying, cross-country rally known as The Crucible.

How are Infinitis G35 coupes?
Are they reliable? Fun to drive? expensive for maintenance? in other words is it worth its money?

I should have enough money for one soon but im a bit nervous though because it will be my first car and some people say its to much of a car for me to have as my first since it is a bit fast. The reason this car caught my attention alot is because its pretty quick and looks great also. and just because its fairly quick and im 18 doesnt mean im going to become a little speed racer and race all the time also (and i can be a whimp at times also) :D

They are excellent cars. They are fun to drive, for sure, and pretty reliable overall, though there are a few things to watch out for here and there, including a few minor electrical glitches (window motors on early 03’s and some 04’s), fuel tank/fuel gauge issues on some, and oil consumption on some 05-06 rev-up engines, but these are relatively rare. As for maintenance, while they are reliable, keep in mind that these are sports cars, and as such go through tires and brakes fairly often, and replacing them is not cheap. Other maintenance is pretty standard stuff (fluids, filters, etc.) but @the Infiniti dealer is not the cheapest. You can shop around for maintenance, and some Infiniti owners use Nissan dealers for maintenace work too, which is generally less expensive. You should budget $750-1,000 a year on maintenance (on average), if not a bit more.

As for being your first car, well, that’s hard for us to determine. Are you used to RWD, high power/torque and sports-car/GT handling? The car has stability control (VDC) so it should save you from big driving mistakes, but you can still get into trouble in slick conditions or high speed situations. As long you drive carefully and don’t overdo it, you should be fine. If you drive in snowy climates, I would recommend snow tires in the winter.

Some people are correct. It’s too much of a car for a teen. Buy a beater and really learn how to drive and then get a good car.

Would you have some suggestions as to what all i can do ?(really really bored?
and just got out of the hospital..have 30 staples in my stomach, and in pain, and on a low fat diet,, but so really, really bored….all my friends i have lost contact with due to moving to a different county..

Hi,

I’m sorry you’re in pain! Sounds like an "ouch" procedure, whatever it was.

I just got off a 2-week house arrest from a medical procedure, so I feel your boredom. I found a few cool things to do though while I was stuck in my house.

First off, do you have any hobbies? If you do, try working on those. I started playing piano last year so I found that to be a great way to spend some of the day. I also am a painter, so that took up a lot of time. Other suggestions I would have would be to learn a craft like knitting or crocheting or sewing. You can sit comfortably and work on something. I think crafts are really good for this kind of thing because you don’t need to do anything physical and can sit the whole time, just using your hands. Try making a scrapbook with old photos, or make gifts for friends or family. Martha Stewart has great ideas on her website under the crafts section: www.marthastewart.com like making your own soaps, candles, gift boxes, jewelry boxes, etc.

Other things to do would be rent movies. I know that gets boring, but I’m usually the least bored when I rent like a whole season of a TV show and watch that. Or you could try some writing. Don’t know if you’re into writing but it can be really helpful to relieve stress. Reading too.

Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!!!

Do you think marijuana should be legalized?
Why Marijuana Should Be Legal

Liberty: people deserve freedom to use marijuana.
The first and most basic reason that marijuana should be legal is that there is no good reason for it not to be legal. Some people ask ‘why should marijuana be legalized?" but we should ask "Why should marijuana be illegal?" From a philosophical point of view, individuals deserve the right to make choices for themselves. The government only has a right to limit those choices if the individual’s actions endanger someone else. This does not apply to marijuana, since the individual who chooses to use marijuana does so according to his or her own free will. The government also may have a right to limit individual actions if the actions pose a significant threat to the individual. But this argument does not logically apply to marijuana because marijuana is far less dangerous than some drugs which are legal, such as alcohol and tobacco.
SUMMARY: Individuals deserve the right to decide whether or not they should use marijuana. The government should not tell individuals what to do as long as they do not harm others.

Cost: keeping marijuana illegal is expensive.
The second important reason that marijuana should be legal is that it would save our government lots of money. In the United States, all levels of government (federal, state, and local authorities) participate in the "War on Drugs." We currently spend billions of dollars every year to chase peaceful people who happen to like to get high. These people get locked up in prison and the taxpayers have to foot the bill. We have to pay for food, housing, health care, attorney fees, court costs, and other expenses to lock these people up. This is extremely expensive! We could save billions of dollars every year as a nation if we stop wasting money locking people up for having marijuana. In addition, if marijuana were legal, the government would be able to collect taxes on it, and would have a lot more money to pay for effective drug education programs and other important causes.
SUMMARY: We would have more money to spend on important problems if marijuana were legal.

Failure: prohibition doesn’t help.
The third major reason that marijuana should be legal is because prohibition does not help the country in any way, and causes a lot of problems. There is no good evidence that prohibition decreases drug use, and there are several theories that suggest prohibition might actually increase drug use (i.e. the "forbidden fruit" effect, and easier accessibility for youth). One unintended effect of marijuana prohibition is that marijuana is very popular in American high schools. Why? Because it is available. You don’t have to be 21 to buy marijuana — marijuana dealers usually don’t care how old you are as long as you have money. It is actually easier for many high school students to obtain marijuana than it is for them to obtain alcohol, because alcohol is legal and therefore regulated to keep it away from kids. If our goal is to reduce drug consumption, then we should focus on open and honest programs to educate youth, regulation to keep drugs away from kids, and treatment programs for people with drug problems. But the current prohibition scheme does not allow such reasonable approaches to marijuana; instead we are stuck with ‘DARE’ police officers spreading lies about drugs in schools, and policies that result in jail time rather than treatment for people with drug problems. We tried prohibition with alcohol, and that failed miserably. We should be able to learn our lesson and stop repeating the same mistake.
SUMMARY: Prohibition does not work. Education and treatment are better ways to address the drug problem.

There are plenty of other reasons why marijuana should be legal. Just to name a few:
Medicinal use: Marijuana can be used as medicine because it helps to stimulate apetite and relieve nausea in cancer and AIDS patients.

Hemp: The hemp plant is a valuable natural resource. Legalizing marijuana would eliminate the confusion surrounding hemp and allow us to take advantage of hemp’s agricultural and industrial uses.

Religious Use:Some religions instruct their followers to use marijuana. Just like Christianity and Judaism instruct their followers to drink wine on certain occaisions, some Hindus, Buddhists, Rastafarians, and members of other religions use marijuana as part of their spiritual and religious ceremonies. These people deserve the freedom to practice their religion as they see fit. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that the government cannot ‘prohibit the free exercise’ of religion, and so marijuana should be legal.

I think the United States needs to take a good look at other countries that DO legalize pot. Without a doubt marijuana should be legal for those with cancer, tumors glaucoma etc. About ten years ago I was in Amsterdam. OH yes every pot heads dream……or so they think. There are RULES that govern the sales. So yes I think it should be legalized. Why can we drink alcohol? How is that any better? Think of all the car accidents caused by alcohol? Maybe its just me but you don’t hear of near as many caused by marijuana consumption. I am a mother of five. Take this as you will but I would rather smoke a joint than have a glass of wine to mellow down but I don’t because it is illegal. I truly hope they legalize it and tax it. It would up the economy TREMENDOUSLY. Just my two cents.

MJ….not to start an arguement but isn’t that the same thing that happens to alcoholics?? They need to keep drinking to feel that euphoria. Not much different.

something that a lot of people don’t know is that marijuana releases particles that react in your body to make you feel really happy, so your body senses that it no longer needs to produce these hormones because something is already doing it for it, so when you decide to stop smoking it then your left with nothing to produces hormones to make you happy so it leads to depression, so i dont think it should be leagalized it has to many affects that people are just unaware about
MJ | Oct 28, 2009

NO.*
firewomen | Oct 28, 2009

I want it decriminalized, it would be way too hypocritical to just legalize it for profit. The decades of propaganda and millions of lives ruined over marijuana all over turned for profit.

If you get caught with a small amount they just write you a $100 citation as opposed to a mandatory arrest wasting police resources. That’s the biggest FU for everyone who’s been effected by the justice system in the last 75 years with regard to marijuana.

It was made illegal in 1937 because of money, you don’t legalize it for the same reasons 75 years later.
Joe B | Oct 28, 2009

Lobby your legislature and/or Congress to legalize Marijuana. That would be the correct solution to the problem - not with the court system. The sad truth is = people will find a way to get high - and escape their own lives. I say make it legal - let everybody get hooked on it - tax the hell out of it - then make it illegal to use - just like we have with tobacco.

It got very good reviews, even though Adam Sandler is in it, too. I haven’t seen it, though it’s on my Netflix list.

"Schindler’s List" is one of the best movies ever made, though, with Liam Neeson as Oscar Schindler, a greedy, shallow, Nazi war profiteer who has a shattering epiphany on a hilltop overlooking Krakow, Poland during WW II.

Breakfast was very good. Oatmeal is very good for you, and you got a couple of portions of fruit in which is fantastic. Making your oatmeal with milk would be even better since you’d get in extra protein.
Yogurt and apple are great snacks, but look out for all the sugar in 100 calorie snack packs.
Lunch sounds good too. Make sure the bread is wholemeal.
Overall this is very impressive. Well done. X

that sounds great! however, if you’re trying to lose weight, i would check the sugar content on th yogurt, granola, and 100 calorie pack. if you’re not trying to lose weight, just to maintain it then i’d say that’s wonderful! good luck!

Your breakfast was very good. The only healthy thing about your snack was the apples. 100 calorie packs are horrible for you, and both yogurt and granola bars are filled with sugar. I would choose to eat one of those..not all three because the sugar amount is so high with all three. Your lunch sounds excellent though.

I need help with Assassins Creed?
I have this informer who wants me to assassinate 3 people in 3 minutes. It seems impossible because the guards are so suspicious, that even if I just walk by them they become hostile. They don’t attack me if I act as a scholar but it takes too long to do this way. What the hell can I do?

rooftops and scholars both are the way to go, make sure you use a slow assasination techinque, to look inconspicuous, and have time to blend in again. remember to use the three minutes to your fullest, and you should be fine.

use rooftops were there are no guards around, use scholars once close to target stab them in the back then get away, maybe hid in a hay stack if guards are near or citizens screaming raising the alertness. now repeat until targets are gone/dead.
